Building Tune-up and Retro-commissioning Program

Maximize your facility’s energy performance with Potomac Edison’s Building Tune-up and Retro-commissioning (BT/RCx) Program.

We provide a comprehensive mix of energy-saving measures for non-residential buildings of all types - commercial, industrial, government, institutional or nonprofit. Whether you need a simple tune-up of your HVAC system or real-time energy management analytics, our program has something for you.

LIMITED TIME BONUS!

ADMIN BONUS FOR BUILDING TUNE-UP (BT) AND SMALL BUSINESS DIRECT INSTALL (SBDI)

For a limited time, the Potomac Edison BT and SBDI Programs are offering a Program Ally (contractor) Admin Bonus which has been incorporated into the latest tool as:

  • The bonus for SBDI will pay $0.05/kWh for lighting and $0.10/kWh on non-lighting measures based on the final kWh savings (amount on the final signed work order) of the project to the contractor. The new non-lighting bonus started with the update of the v5.9 tool.
  • The bonus for BT will pay $0.10/kWh for all projects based on the final kWh savings (amount on the final signed work order) of the project to the contractor.

This offer will end as of October 14, 2023 for SBDI projects and November 1, 2023 for BT projects, or until all designated funds have been allocated, whichever is first. All projects must Pass a Pre-Inspection by the above mentioned dates. Any eligible projects must be complete within 90 days to be eligible for the Admin Bonus and the Incentives offered during this current cycle. For a project to be considered complete it must have passed post inspection and must have all final paperwork submitted to Willdan.

The Admin Bonus is separate from the incentive and copay. There is no change to how incentives and copays will be calculated. The bonus is only available on projects that have passed Pre-Inspection with a v5.8 tool or later. The Admin Bonus is calculated within the v5.8 tool and no additional steps or paperwork are required by the contractor. The bonus amount can be viewed in the Site Notes tab (next to the Work Order tab) of the tool.

Starting with Willdan v5.9 tool includes the HVAC Tune-Up incentives to match those offered in Pennsylvania. Savings on HVAC Tune-Ups are now up to $175 - $250 off on single and multi-compressor systems respectively with no Co-Pay.
